This website has been developed in order to coordinate a reunion bash for all 1989 Glen High matrics as well as a few distinguished guests.
As a starting point, I am compiling a database of all 1989 matrics in order to guage their whereabouts and contact details so that I can establish contact with everyone possible.
Firsly, please find your name in the attached contact list link and complete the questionaire.
Secondly, please forward this site address to everyone you may still have contact with from the '89 matric group so that they may do the same.
Lastly, should you have information relating to people in the contact list and cannot get hold of them, please post your remarks on the message board link.
The date and venue for the reunion is still under discussion, however, we will try to accommodate as many people as possible with regards to these. Please take a look at the REUNION DETAILS link for updated information.

I'm really happy to see that there have been quite a few responses / hits to this web site. A big thank you to everyone who has completed the contact list page.
If you have not completed the form, please do so. I would like to build a database of all '89 martics - whether you can make the reunion or not.
As far as the reunion goes, everything is still on track, and I can see by the feedback that there are more people who want to have it later in the year - but I'll keep you posted.
The names of the people that have responded are posted on the page called respondees. If you would like to get in touch with them, let me know by mail. (Just give me a few days)
I think that I'm limited with space on this site, but in a few weeks, I'd like to have a section showing photos (then and now) - fun stuff.

Hi and welcome to the site - if you have not done so already, please go (immediately) to the contact list page, fill in your details and submit.
I'm trying to build a database with all the '89 matrics, with the aim of arranging a 20 year reunion bash sometime in 2009.
You can see a list those that have completed the form on the respondees page.
As far as the timing goes, September, October and November are the three most requested months, but let's wait until all the votes are in.
As we get more '89ers to complete the list, I'll be bouncing a few ideas off everyone regarding the make-up of this reunion. Suggestions to date are varied from braais to fishing trips?!?!
My main aim is to make it MEMORABLE regardless of what we get up to. Also, most of the respndees have kids which means we'll have to (at least) arrange some sort of family activity - but I'm getting ahead of myself...
The top priority is that we get as many people to respond to this site as possible (whether they plan to attend or not). So, please keep checking in on this site, and if you notice that someone you have contact with is not listed on the respondees list, tell them to get their butts into gear and get on with it. Otherwise, send me their email address and I'll harras the hell out of them.

Well, the message seems to be getting around. Thanks to everyone who has completed the contact list form.
We have had so many old freinds in contact with each other - and you will now notice that I have included everyone's residing country next to their names (Respondees)
Please try to track your old '89 buddies down, and have them check in - the sooner we can get all the names in, the sooner we can start planning a lekker reunion.
A warning to those that have not checked in yet and know about the site (you know who you are), I am planning a 'wall of shame' page where I will be placing your martic photo's - so get on with it...
We are now in contact with The Glen High School. Mr. Brink (our ex-Biology teacher) is now the Headmaster, and he will be posting a short message on this site pretty soon. The school has also supported most of the previous reunions by making school facilities available (should we require them) such as the hall and the sports fields.
I'll keep you posted on these developments.
In terms of the timing, the popular vote is still in October or November - I think our beautiful weather has something to do with it (sorry to all you UK based 89ers) - but it's Ok, you earn Pounds.
