SNAPSHOT - Brett Strydom
After matric I ended up in the South African Navy and if you can believe it made and survived junior leaders selection and training, stayed on an additional year as a drill instructor ( Some of the old Glen boys who ended up there will remember me.
After my time in the Military travelled and had a bit of a up and down life until 2001 when I started a outdoor media company with two old Manor High boys.
Today we are the fourth biggest billboard media owner in the country and expanding internationally as present, not bad hey for someone who never listened in class.
I still race motocross and off road motorcycles and finished the ultra tough Roof Of Africa in 2005 though I am starting to pay dearly now for years in a tough sport.
