After School:

1.5 years at Tuks - BCom…. Crap… so I left to do National Service in Belgium for a year. Came back to SA, applied to do in-service training with Protea Hotels, got the job as trainee in 1993.

- Front Office Manager (1996 – 1998)

                                                - General Manager (1998 – 2006)

Holiday Inns UK (1.5 years)     - Operations Manager (2006 – 2007)

Oxford Hotels & Inns UK        - General Manager (2007 – Current)

Private Life:

Met my beautiful wife Carlette in 1993, but we only said our vows in 1999 well after Alexandre was born. He is now 13. Kyle is 8 and Elle is 4.

Hobbies:

My Family

Travel (We don’t go on holiday… we move!): Work has taken us from Midrand, Benoni, Katberg (near Grahamstown), Klerksdorp (ja, it are true), Pietersburg, Cape Town, Mossel Bay, George and finally to the UK.

Other Interesting Travel:

Namibia, Ivory Coast, Angola, Belgium, France, Netherlands.
