Update No: 14
Hi there 89ERS,
I am glad to announce that we have now exceeded the 100 mark. Over 100 former 1989 matrics have responded to the site, and we now have substantial database of contacts.
For first time visitors, the aim of this site is as follows:
- Establish contact with former 1989 matrics in order to create a ‘contact list’ as to plan a 20 year reunion bash in 2009.
- To provide information on former school friends as to what they have been up to over the last 20 years.
If you have not checked in yet, please go to the contact list page and complete your details.
The full list of all ‘respondees’ to the site can be seen here, and the full list of 1989 matrics (as well as further information on certain people) can be found here.
As for the reunion, most respondees have voted to have it somewhere around October next year, although there is no fixed date yet.
If you have contact with anyone from 1989 that is not yet on the respondees list, please ask them to log into the web site and complete their details.
Finally, please send some time exploring the site – I have included a few photographs (submitted by regular visitors to the site). Most entertaining are the matric dance photos. You can find these under Fun Stuff.
Well, it’s almost Christmas, and hopefully things should start winding down for most of us at work (or home?). I trust that everyone has a really great (and safe) festive season, and I look forward to even more contact with everyone in the New Year.
